Welcome To MAJODA STABLES
Come home to Majoda Stables
The Spring Open House & Student Horse Show is April 26, 2014.
Open to the public. Come and enjoy the day!
Majoda Stables was founded in 1992 on the historic Stow farm. The rustic old barns and farmhouse were on the corner of Westfield and Garwood Roads. The buildings were well over one hundred years old! When the Stow's estate was sold to CareOne Assisted Living, the old house and one of the barns were moved to new locations. CareOne was interested in keeping Majoda Stables on as a tenant after the construction. That is why the facility and the barn are of similar architecture!
Many changes have taken place in the past several years, but the one thing that remains the same is the dedication to providing individuals with a safe, caring environment in which to learn to communicate and interact with our horses and ponies.
Owned and operated by the Hallowell Family
FYI! : The name "Majoda" was derived from the names of three of the first lesson horses we started with in 1992; MAggie JOhnnie, DAkota!
