· Here are some helpful hints that might benefit beginner riders:

Wear suitable clothing for riding:

• Jeans or long pants
• Boots with a smooth sole and low heel
• ASTM-approved riding helmet available at local tack shops or online equine supply services. Example: Toll Booth Saddle Shop
